We all enjoyed an evening of sumptuous local sourced produce, lively entertainment and great company whilst helping to raise funds for a very important cause.

The magical night started with local Dubbo Senior Campus HSC student Teliha Clarke signing a traditional 'Acknowledgement to country' in  Wiradjuri

Teliha, is very supportive of the Ear Bus Project, being permanently hearing impaired herself, due to childhood Otitis Media and late diagnoses in Kindergarten.
Teliha was supported on the night by another local member of the Dubbo District Parent Support Group For Deaf and Hearing Impaired, Haylee Rees, who read the traditional Wiradjuri Acknowledgement.

We were then entertained by local Wiradjuri Elder Ray Hampton and his Grandchildren.
He has been teaching them his dreamtime stories and dances.  

There was a vast array of products and services donated by local businesses and supporters up for Auction

Table decorations included a fishbowl with 3 gold fish to signify 1 in 3 children having Otitis Media. Bobs Pets and Fish kindly donated the fish for our event.

Talented Artist KEN TUCKER entertained us all night by creating a masterpiece to be auctioned off in the Loud Auction. It was a pleasure to watch him and the finished product was amazing. Click on the picture to be taken to a website about his work

Guest speaker- Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist- Dr Hayder Ridha speaking about why the Ear Bus is a much needed project. He likes to think of the project as 'The Middle Ear Bus'!
