OUR STATE OF ART HEAR OUR HEART EAR BUS WAS A JOINT LOCAL PROJECT!

Follow the journey from start to finish. The mobile hearing testing booth was officially donated in 2016 by Terry and Kathy Green, who owned a local car yard in Dubbo. The fit-out of the hearing testing booth and office space in the back of the bus began just before Christmas 2016, with free labor provided by Dubbo's Alloy Welding. The bus was completed and presented to the community on April 7, 2017. Its first hearing test was conducted on May 15, 2017.

Alloy Welding have been the project managers for the fit out of the bus. Scott Wilkin has handled the job with ease and very professionally. The expert builder was Gary Nichols. They did not charge labor for this. Click on their logo to go to their website.

Ray Tobin signs designed the outside of the bus with the main focus being ear health and hearing loss education for our kids. He donated his labor to do this. Click on their logo to go to their website.
After the Christmas 2016 holidays things really moved quickly with the building.
The team at Alloy Welding are experts at just about everything.
No job was too big or small for them and the attention to detail is amazing with their designs.
Alloy Welding have continued to support us as things have popped up over the years since.

NEXT ON THE LIST WAS SIGN WRITING...

Ray Tobin and his team worked with the HoH committee to get designs going. We had photo shoots with the puppets and designing sessions with Ray and the finished project is, in Ray's words,
"it looks a million dollars!"
Since then Ray has continued to support us when new signs have needed to be added.
