The first event for 2013 was an 80's Trivia Challenge.
We sent out a message to all in Dubbo... "Get your thinking caps and leg warmers on and come along to our 80's themed Trivia Challenge" Friday February 22nd @ the Dubbo Golf Club. Newell Highway, Dubbo
What a fantastic night it was with many people going out of their way to dress up in 80's clothing. For some it was a trip down memory lane with the fashion!!!
Our judges Lyndon and Clifford did a great job
Our MC, Lachlan Meurer, did I fantastic job, as always, in preparing and delivering the questions. He did however forget to mention one very important memorable 80s bit of trivia....... That being- KISS was the BEST 80's band!!!!! Go Gene Simmons and that enormous tongue! His job on the night was made easier with the use of a classroom sound distribution system supplied by one of our Major Sponsor FRONT ROW. Almost all Primary Schools in Dubbo now have sound systems to help those 1 in 3 children under 8 yrs with Otitis Media for up to 6 months of the year, hear the teachers voice accurately.

Xmas Gift Wrapping at Good Guys
he weekend before Christmas Rodney and Danielle Sparrow kindly reserved a spot for us to do charity Gift Wrapping at their store. It was a VERY busy time of the year and it was great to have all of our Dubbo Committee keen to help.
It was also a great way to raise our profile with many costumers keen to ask questions about the Project. We set up a display of Josh Edwards mountain climbing gear which raised a lot of interest.
We raised $282 over the 2 days.
