Money Raised: $1780

Held at Toongi Hall, just outside of Dubbo on Saturday July 21st 2012. This Quilt Exhibition also hosted an Art & Craft Market day with quilting enthusiasts attending from all over the region.

It was officially opened by Glenys Mann, an internationally renowned Fabric Artist and Quilter.

Approximately 180 visitors had the opportunity to take in the exhibition along with numerous inviting market stalls.

A High Tea was served in the morning and many guests enjoyed the Sausage Sizzle put on by the Dubbo & District Parent Support Group for Deaf and Hearing Impaired who also organised a Car Rally which started at Lazy River and finished at Toongi Hall.

A great family fun day out was hailed a great success and enjoyed by many Quilt and Car Rally enthusiasts

Littlies Halloween Disco October 31st, 2012
at ST Marys Primary School Hall
Money raised: $500

Picture
Halloween is always fun when you can dress up and enjoy it. This year we held a fundraiser that the little ones loved for ages from 3-11 and prizes for the best dressed Halloween costumes in each age group.

Committee Member Lesley Burton cooked a variety of halloween decorated cakes for the kids. After School Care that uses the Hall also helped by making Halloween decorations that week and dressing up the hall with the decorations on the afternoon of the 31st. Thanks to Jenny Mann from Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre for Co-ordinating this.

We had children from Early Childhood Centres and Primary Schools from all over Dubbo with the youngest child, who was dressed up as a bat!!!!, being 10 months old.

The children had a fantastic time and asked if it could be a definite event on the calendar next year. Thank you to St Marys for the use of the Hall

Inaugural Hear our Heart Gala Ball of 2012

Picture
A fantastic night was held by the 80 guests that came and supported the cause at the innaugural Gala Ball.

An array of silent and loud auction items kept guests on their toes as well as a live artist; Ken Tucker painting a landscape image during the night.

Of course the live music by the Great Western Plains big band cannot be forgotten.

Please see the sub-tab GALA BALL under 2012 events for a more detailed recount of the wonderful night we all had.
